Advocacy and awareness raising work in Europe and beyond

Advocacy and awareness raising work is a very challenging field for SDT. We have the strong desire to share our knowledge and expertise about the issues surrounding tourism and sustainable development, and to sensitize the public for these issues. We envisage numerous different activities that range from the publication of articles and promotional material, the participation at local, regional and national events, to the staging of information and presentation evenings, as well as the active cooperation with schools, universities and similar institutions. Our public relations section will also contact various individuals, businesses and institutions that might be appropriate for a partnership.

Among many others, we participate at several important European travel exhibitions, such as the Reisepavillon in Hannover (February), the ITB in Berlin (April) and the WTM in London (November).
